CTF Writeup #19

Welcome folks!!
We are going to do Biohazard CTF on TryHackMe.This is a puzzle-based CTF inspired by the iconic Resident Evil series. If you have played RE games before then you will know the RE games are puzzle-frenzy, a lot of parts, keys to find, statues to make or break, it’s a pretty nightmarish adventure.

I had so much fun doing this box. This is epic CTF!! Before we start I want to tell you this writeup is going to be very long yet definitely worth the effort. 😃

Shoutout to CTF Creator [Superb room, Kudos to you for making it!!]:

Create a directory for your CTF machine on Desktop and a directory for Nmap within the CTF Directory.

Let’s dive in the adventure!! Enjoy the nightmare!!

Task 1- Introduction:

Tasks 1 List

The easiest task of them all. 😄

#1. Deploy the machine and start the nightmare.
Ans: No answer needed

Nmap Scan :

nmap -sC -sV -oN nmap/biohazard <TARGET_IP>

-sC : Default scripts
-sV : Version detection
-oN : Output to be stored in the directory ‘nmap’ you created earlier
